Job summary

Bailey’s is hiring a Warehouse Assistant in Colorado Springs, CO to support receiving, storing, and moving inventory for customers and deliveries. You will help organize items, prepare shipments, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, operating basic warehouse equipment (as certified), following OSHA guidelines, and preserving safety and order across the facility. Flex hours, weekends, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, moving, logistics, or inventory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and overtime.

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory, furniture, household goods, and packing supplies.
• Assist with loading and unloading moving trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Prepare, label, wrap, and stage customer items for storage, delivery, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and document movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure customer belongings are handled with care to prevent damage or loss.
• Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, loading areas, and storage facilities.
• Assist movers and drivers with assembling moving equipment and preparing shipments.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including hand trucks, pallet jacks, dollies, and forklifts (if certified).
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Report damaged inventory, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management immediately.
• Support warehouse security by ensuring storage areas are properly secured and monitored.
• Assist with packing, unpacking, furniture padding, and other moving-related services as needed.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, drivers, movers, and management to meet operational goals.
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
