Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is hiring a Preparation Touch-Up Specialist to perform minor repairs and touch-ups so products look top-notch before reaching customers.

Responsibilities include inspecting for defects, performing repairs with putty and lacquer, color matching, and maintaining inventory. Evening/weekend availability and safety-forward practices are required, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical or Trade school certificate in Furniture repair OR 1-2 years of furniture repair/touch up experience.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Ability to lift/push/pull required weights.
• Ability to operate all hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to match colors and simulate wood grain.
• Operate scanning equipment preferred.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Schedule Options

• Sunday-Thursday, 2:00pm-10:30pm
• Tuesday-Saturday, 2:00pm-10:30pm
• Wednesday-Sunday, 1:00pm-9:30pm
• Saturday-Wednesday, 1:00pm-9:30pm
