The Louisiana DOTD is seeking an Asst Sec Operation in Baton Rouge to coordinate daily material distribution from the statewide warehouse. You will use SAP Warehouse Management and RF tech to ensure accurate picking, processing, and inventory updates, while guiding warehouse staff.

Essential duties include supervising daily operations, training staff on SAP/RF systems, handling transfers and returns, and backing up the Warehouse Supervisor as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in administrative services.
• Experience substitution: every 15 semester hours earned substitutes for six months of experience.
• CSC/ Civil Service policies and procedures knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the picking and distribution of materials to DOTD locations statewide, using SAP and RF technology to ensure orders are accurately processed and inventory is properly updated.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy by performing counts, researching discrepancies, managing bin locations, processing transfers and returns, and correcting system errors.
• Lead and support warehouse staff by assigning work, directing picking activities, providing training on SAP and RF equipment, and assisting with scheduling, performance, and day-to-day operational needs.
• Troubleshoot warehouse and material issues by identifying system, inventory, equipment, or workflow problems, recommending solutions, and serving as the Warehouse Supervisor’s backup when needed.
