Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Retail Trade Planning Lead (TPL) focused on Walmart Pet Retail Execution. You will deliver end-to-end planning, analytics, and systems support to advance Walmart-Pet initiatives.

This role partners with cross-functional teams to drive executional excellence and data-driven selling. You will lead planning, develop offers, and set goals while coordinating with the Pet Retail Excellence team and Walmart customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in sales, account management, trade funding, category management or other relevant experience.
• Demonstrated analytical skills using multiple data sources (NRO, Scintilla, Nielsen, IRI, customer/consumer data).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a standardized, integrated planning and execution process for WM SSRs across WM Pet Customer Team to enable NRO selling.
• Set retail selling goals for selling initiatives and develop offers with Walmart Pet teams.
• Collaborate with Pet Retail Excellence and WM Pet Customer Team to create impactful selling materials.
• Analyze selling windows using Salesforce, e2Open, Tableau and syndicated data (Luminate/Nielsen).
• Provide post-execution analytics and communicate learnings across stakeholders.
• Support store-level questions and optimize UPC conversions for Pet products.
