Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Retail Trade Planning Lead (TPL) focused on Walmart Pet Retail Execution. You will partner with the Pet Retail Excellence and Walmart Pet teams to drive end-to-end planning and execution, using data-led decision making.

The role requires collaboration across multiple functions and strong analytical capabilities. The position involves leading planning processes, developing offers, and delivering clear communication to ensure retail success across Walmart Pet channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in sales, account management, trade funding, category management or other relevant experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Cross functional stakeholder management.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardized, integrated planning, development and execution for WM SSRs across Walmart Pet Customer Team.
• Develop offers with WM Pet Customer Team to maximize multiple inputs for selling effectiveness.
• Set Retail Selling Goals for Selling Initiatives.
• Create effective offer selling materials with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze selling windows using Salesforce, e2Open, Tableau and Nielsen data.
• Identify store/market/regional opportunities from geographic trends.
• Respond to field questions and store challenges promptly.
• Lead NRO Retail Execution, Systems, Planning and Reporting for Pet New Items and UPC Conversions.
• Collaborate with Sales leaders to understand key needs and opportunities.
• Communicate clearly at all levels to drive seamless planning and execution.
