Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Software Engineer to build the backend services, infrastructure, and data systems powering the Robinhood Wallet. You’ll contribute to secure, scalable crypto and tokenized stock trading experiences for users worldwide.

This role is based in our New York, NY or Menlo Park, CA offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week, and offers high-impact work, strong compensation, and equity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Backend development with Go, Python or Java and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong grasp of system design, data modeling and fundamentals.
• Ability to simplify problems, tradeoffs, and align cross-functional teams.
• Accountability with a track record of delivering end-to-end products and improving standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services powering Wallet.
• Develop product features and platform enhancements with correctness and scalability.
• Improve system performance, productivity, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with client teams, product managers, designers, and vendors on solutions.
