Job summary

Robinhood Wallet is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build backend services, infrastructure, and data systems for cryptocurrency trading and tokenized stocks. You will design scalable architectures, deliver high-quality code, and mentor peers across cross-functional teams.

This role requires strong backend expertise, cloud-native design, and a hands-on leadership mindset, with in-person work 3 days per week in Menlo Park or New York.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Python or Java and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong system design, data modeling and fundamentals.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and drive alignment.
• Accountability in delivering high-quality end-to-end products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and scale backend services powering Robinhood Wallet.
• Develop product features and platform enhancements with correctness and scalability in mind.
• Improve system performance, productivity, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with client teams, product, design, and external vendors.
• Mentor engineers and raise team standards through reviews and leadership.
