Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own backend services, infrastructure, and data systems powering the Wallet. You will design scalable architectures and deliver high-quality, secure integrations for crypto and tokenized stocks, collaborating with product, design, and security teams.

You will mentor peers, help raise engineering standards, and participate in architecture discussions to drive robust, high-performance systems across global customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in backend with Go, Python, or Java.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
• Excellent system design and data modeling fundamentals.
• Ability to mentor and raise engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services powering Robinhood Wallet.
• Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements meeting correctness and scalability standards.
• Identify and implement improvements to performance, productivity, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with client teams, product managers, designers, and external vendors for reliable solutions.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards through design reviews and architecture discussions.
