Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Wallet team. You will build and own backend services, data systems, and infrastructure to support trading and DeFi features.

You’ll design scalable architectures and collaborate with product, design, and security teams to deliver high-quality integrations. You will mentor engineers, raise engineering standards, and work in a hybrid setting with in-person days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in backend development using Go, Python, or Java with cloud-native architectures.
• Strong grasp of system design and data modeling.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality end-to-end products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services powering Robinhood Wallet.
• Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements with strong correctness and scalability.
• Improve system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with client teams, product managers, designers, and external vendors.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards through reviews and leadership.
