Job summary

Nielson Construction in Tea, South Dakota, is seeking a Prefabricated Wall Technician to assemble wall panel components and follow blueprint instructions. You will use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment under the supervision of the Prefabricated Wall Foreman to move finished structures to job sites.

The role requires reading construction plans and tape measures, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in framing or carpentry preferred, but not required.
• Read and understand construction plans as well as tape measure readings.
• Knowledge of use and ability to maintain and operate power tools, hand tools, mechanical, building, carpentry, and lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed instructions and guided directions.
• Assemble wall panel components.
• Haul finished structures to assigned job sites.
• Operate commercial equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
• Maintain accurate timecards and job paperwork.
