Job summary

Nielson Construction in Harrisburg, SD, is seeking a detail-oriented Prefabricated Wall Technician to assemble wall panel components according to blueprints. You will use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment while following safety guidelines on job sites, reporting to the Prefabricated Wall Foreman.

Responsibilities include following detailed instructions, assembling wall panels, hauling finished structures to sites, and maintaining accurate timecards and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in framing or carpentry preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of use and operation of power tools, hand tools, and lifting equipment.
• Able to read and understand construction plans and tape measure readings.

Responsibilities

Nielson Construction is looking for a detail oriented and hard-working individual to join the Prefabricated Walls team! The Prefabricated Wall Technician will assemble wall panel components for the construction operations. This technician will follow the instructions of the blueprints and work using hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment. This position reports to the Prefabricated Wall Foreman.

• Read and understand construction plans as well as tape measure readings

This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motion. Must be able to exert up to one hundred pounds of force occasionally, and/or up-to fifty pounds of force frequently.
