Job summary

The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking a Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Cedar Rapids/Iowa City. You will lead the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the world’s largest fundraiser for care, support and research, and drive revenue by engaging community and corporate leaders.

You will recruit, coach and mobilize volunteers, build sustainable partnerships, manage budgets and timelines, and travel up to 60% within your territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience recruiting and mobilizing volunteers or meeting sales targets.
• Ability to travel up to 60% within territory by car with valid license.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Walk to End Alzheimer’s events and achieve revenue goals.
• Recruit, coach and mobilize volunteers for multiple events.
• Build and nurture corporate and community partnerships.
• Manage event budgets, timelines and milestones using data.
• Travel up to 60% and work evenings/weekends as required.
