Job summary

Boulder Waldorf Kindergarten is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher for our toddler Afternoon Rest Program in Boulder, CO. The role focuses on guiding rest time, lunch, and gentle outdoor play within a Waldorf-inspired classroom.

Ideal candidates will have Waldorf training or background, ECPC Level 2 or higher, and experience supporting children during rest/nap time. The position is part-time, afternoon hours, with calm, structured supervision and warm, intentional instruction.

• Ability to lead an afternoon classroom with ownership and warmth.

Responsibilities

• Carry out classroom duties in line with Waldorf methods.
• Nurture and guide children during rest and activities.
• Prepare bedding, mats, and materials for rest time.
• Read stories and sing songs while children fall asleep and rest.
• Plan daily activities and supervise the classroom according to Waldorf principles.
