Job summary

OneZero Solutions, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for Waiver and Equivalency Review to lead the Waiver and Equivalency Reviewer team and drive timely, compliant reviews. This role focuses on complex waiver decisions under 33 CFR Part 101 Subpart F and requires coordinating with the USCG and senior SMEs to finalize recommendations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of team leadership or project management experience.
• Knowledge of 33 CFR Subchapter H, 33 CFR Part 101 Subpart F, and maritime environments.
• Proficiency in applying NIST CSF.
• Three years in maritime security/ or cybersecurity policy or compliance.
• DoD 8140 DCWF Security Control Assessor (612) at Intermediate level (e.g., CISA, CISSP).
• Disclose any organizational conflict of interest related to MTSA-regulated entities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Waiver and Equivalency Reviewer team and manage workload.
• Provide final recommendations on complex waiver requests.
• Ensure Stage One reviews within 10 business days and resubmissions are guided clearly.
• Ensure Stage Two reviews verify regulatory requirements and supporting documentation.
• Ensure Stage Three packages are prepared for USCG review and recommended dispositions.
• Coordinate with Senior SME for technical questions and waivers.
