Job summary

Green Hills Community in Ames, IA is recruiting a hospitality-focused Waitstaff Member to join our team. This role performs a number of kitchen activities including serving our guests, general cleaning duties and maintaining cleanliness and organization of all storage areas including coolers, freezers, and non-food storage rooms.

Average of 12 hours per week with a part-time schedule on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., plus occasional Wednesday evenings (4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and pots and perform general cleaning duties.
• Distribute and store clean dishes, utensils, and post in proper locations.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and kitchen areas.
• Receive deliveries and check stock; assist with catering functions as needed.

Salary Expectation: $15.50/hr

• Distribute and store clean post, dishes, and utensils in appropriate locations in accordance with proper sanitary control.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen areas.
• Receive deliveries and check stock in appropriate areas.
• Assist with catering functions, as needed.
