Green Hills Community is seeking a hospitality-focused Dietary Aide to join our team in Ames, IA. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM and offers a starting pay of $15.50/hour.

The role includes assisting cooks, serving meals, and maintaining dining room setups for Health Care Center residents and Assisted Living tenants. We value confidential handling of information, compliance with dietary guidelines, and a drug screen/background check as part of our hiring

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions, basic math
• Knowledge of recipes or special diets is a plus
• Confidentiality and discretion required
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required

GreenHills Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dietary Aide to join our team! This role performs a number of kitchen activities including assisting cooks in the service of meals to guests in accordance with the guest's individual dietary needs, sanitary handling of all food and non-food items, utilizing proper procedures for preparation, storage, care and cleaning of equipment, and more.
