Job summary

Green Hills Community in Ames, IA is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Dietary Aide to join our team. This role performs kitchen activities including assisting cooks, serving meals to residents, and maintaining sanitary handling of all food and equipment.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a starting wage of $15.50 per hour. We offer scholarships, rewards points, comprehensive benefits, and uniform allowances to support our staff.

GreenHills Community is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dietary Aide to join our team! This role performs a number of kitchen activities including assisting cooks in the service of meals to guests in accordance with the guest's individual dietary needs, sanitary handling of all food and non-food items, utilizing proper procedures for preparation, storage, care and cleaning of equipment, and more.

• Prepare nourishments, juices, and beverages for Health Care Center residents and Assisted Living tenants, following written guidelines.
• Serve meals to Health care Center residents.
• Set up and clean dining rooms to prepare for meals.
• Assist cooks in some food preparation, including dishing up sides, cutting desserts, and more.
