Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients under physician orders and established guidelines. The role requires GA RN licensure and BLS certification, with BSN preferred for career advancement.

The nurse will manage care for an assigned patient group, guided by hospital philosophy and policies. The position features a standard 8a-5p schedule with on-call responsibilities and opportunities for specialty certification

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred and additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Manage patient care for an assigned group of patients according to Northside Hospital policies.
• Demonstrate collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment in daily practice.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

The Northside Hospital Staff Registered Professional Nurse manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of Northside Hospital.
