West End Grill is seeking a waiter / waitress with strong hard skills and excellent people skills.

The ideal candidate should be able to multitask food and beverage orders and deliveries. Our restaurant prides itself on providing excellent service, so we are looking for someone who is attentive, patient, and maintains a positive attitude with guests.

The role involves greeting guests, seating them, assisting with menu choices, taking and delivering orders (including tray carrying), and clearing tables. All waitstaff are also responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions.

To ensure a pleasurable dining experience, the successful candidate should be friendly, courteous, accommodating, reliable, and capable of problem-solving. Being a team player is essential.

Responsibilities of a Waiter / Waitress :

1. Greeting, seating, and escorting guests.
2. Providing menu recommendations and additional information.
3. Upselling products when appropriate.
4. Checking IDs to prevent minors from ordering alcohol.
5. Taking orders via software, slips, or memorization.
6. Communicating order details to kitchen staff.
7. Delivering food and drinks promptly.
8. Handling check payments and billing.
9. Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of tables and tableware.
