Responsibilities

• Provides patrons with outstanding guest service and a positive attitude.
• Assumes fiscal responsibility for teller’s initial bankroll and final accountability.
• Completes cash draws or returns for tellers as required.
• Assists with cash removal from self-serve tote machines.
• Maintains proper currency/coin inventory.
• Uses tote file reports to assist with cash balancing.
• Ensures compliance with Virginia Racing Commission requirements.
• Coordinates promotions and special race days with other departments.
• Resolves guest service issues and assists tellers with problem solving.
