Job summary

Siltronic AG in Portland, OR is hiring Entry-Level Manufacturing Production Operators to set up and operate production equipment for silicon wafers on a 12-hour Pitman schedule. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour with a 15% night shift differential and a robust benefits package.

Responsibilities include preparing tools and materials, loading/unloading equipment, inspecting wafers, following procedures, and keeping SPC records.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates should have basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Industry experience in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, load, and unload production equipment for silicon wafer processing.
• Follow equipment-operation procedures, processing instructions, and SPC data recording.
• Review graphs and charts and adjust equipment as needed to meet targets.
• Maintain clean work areas and properly wear PPE in the cleanroom if required.
• Communicate product and equipment status to team members.
• Perform safety procedures and adhere to hazardous material handling rules.
• Work an 11.5–hour shift with weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
