Job summary

Qualifications

  • MS/PhD in relevant field (Chemical/Mechanical/Materials/Physics).
  • Semiconductor wafer process experience.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate wafer technologies into HDD products for performance and reliability.
  • Lead the introduction and qualification of new wafer products and transfer to manufacturing.
  • Build qualification wafers and create data packages for analysis and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and processes.
  • Develop process improvements to enhance wafer yield, quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with R&D to evaluate emerging wafer technologies.
  • Monitor KPIs and report to management.
  • Contribute to technology roadmap and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.
  • Mentor junior engineers on wafer technologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments.
