Skorpios Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer for Metrology in Temecula, CA to support development of manufacturable and reliable metrology for high-tech devices.

You will collaborate across engineering teams to measure experiments, optimize wafer characterization, and ensure quality on production lots. The role requires experience with metrology tools, SPC, data analysis, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials & Science, Physics or Chemistry with 10+ years of experience.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials & Science, Physics or Chemistry with 7+ years of experience.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials & Science, Physics or Chemistry with 4+ years of experience.
• Processing experience in a fab and tool sets.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Data extraction, analysis, and reporting experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and address root causes.
• Ability to understand maintenance activity details required to ensure a healthy and repeatable Metrology.
• Ability to plan and prioritize activities and manage overlapping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Integration Engineers, Customers, Development Engineers, and other Metrology Engineers to measure outcomes of experiments and adjust wafer characterization.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and Integration to ensure effective Metrology on new products introductions and production lots.
• Guide Metrology Technicians through challenging process steps.
• Analyze metrology results and disposition lots based on data and pass/fail criteria.
• Report and summarize results from metrology analysis and provide guidance to teams.
