Job summary

WD is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead the B shift wafer manufacturing team in Fremont, CA. This full-time exempt position coordinates between manufacturing, maintenance, process and equipment engineering to improve throughput and quality.

You will manage 30–45 operators, drive problem resolution, monitor tooling, and implement Lean and Six Sigma principles while aligning with safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of semiconductor wafer manufacturing processes and SPC systems.
• Familiar with Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and DMAIC.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; experience with PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 30–45 person shift team to meet production goals.
• Coordinate between manufacturing, maintenance, process and equipment engineering.
• Identify and drive resolutions to production problems; improve throughput and quality.
• Ensure staffing, training, and performance reviews are aligned with policy.
• Promote Lean manufacturing concepts and discipline on the line.
