Job summary

KLA seeks a Product Engineer to support wafer inspection tools in the Central Engineering Group in Ann Arbor. This role ensures day-to-day tool availability, performance, and readiness within established processes, coordinating with systems, software, hardware, applications, service, and manufacturing teams to keep development moving forward.

Responsibilities include tool ownership, monitoring health and uptime, driving issue resolution, and supporting customer demos with Applications Engineers.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with related work experience
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex electromechanical or optical systems
• Strong communication for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineering tool owner for assigned wafer inspection tools, ensuring availability and readiness for engineering and demos.
• Monitor tool health, uptime, and performance; drive timely resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Support calibration, validation, and preventive maintenance activities.
