Job summary

MACOM in Durham, NC seeks a Supervisor for Wafer Fabrication to lead a shift in a fast-paced fab environment. You will oversee safety, throughput, yield, and on-time delivery while coordinating with Fab engineering, Equipment, Quality, and Facilities teams.

You will manage staffing, training and performance, drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and standardization across shifts. A BS in Engineering and 5+ years of manufacturing management are required; US persons only.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of engineering and/or manufacturing management.
• BS in Engineering.
• Due to ITAR regulations, only U.S. Persons will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Fab performance metrics including safety, revenue, throughput, cycle time, yield and on-time delivery for the shift.
• Collaborate with Fab engineering, equipment, quality and facilities teams.
• Manage WIP and ensure on-time delivery to commits.
• Staffing: hiring, training, retention, discipline, and employee relations.
• Foster a high-performance culture and drive continuous improvement of procedures, yield, and business systems.
• Lead productivity improvement and cost-reduction initiatives across shifts.
• Drive standardization across shifts.
