Job summary

MACOM, a global leader in semiconductor solutions, seeks an Industrial Engineer for the Durham, NC wafer fab. You will analyze manufacturing data, drive throughput, shorten cycle times, and cut costs while leading the dispatch scheduling software administration.

You will partner with Fab, Process, Device and Integration teams; own KPI reporting, capacity modeling, and lean implementations (5S, JIT, Six Sigma); create Power BI dashboards visualizing factory performance and KPIs.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Industrial Engineering, or engineering degree equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Industrial Engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Manufacturing FAB lot dispatch software and optimize scheduling parameters to maximize throughput and minimize cycle time.
• Own manufacturing reporting of KPIs, KPI definitions and data accuracy.
• Create and maintain capacity models for CAPEX planning and weekly constraints mitigation; lead implementation.
• Analyze production processes to identify bottlenecks and improve cycle time, throughput and WIP.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through process improvements and better resource utilization.
• Apply lean principles (5S, value stream mapping, JIT, Six Sigma) to improve processes.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports to visualize factory performance and key metrics.
