Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily wafer fabrication activities, ensuring safe, efficient production of semiconductor wafers.

You will supervise technicians, manage shifts, and coordinate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Quality, Facilities, and Planning to meet production, yield, and cycle-time goals. The role emphasizes a strong safety and quality culture while adhering to SOPs, process controls, and cleanroom protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related environment.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience in cleanroom/fab environment preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing safety, quality, and process-control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production schedules and targets.
• Monitor priorities and ensure timely execution across areas.
• Maintain staffing levels and adjust resources as needed.
• Monitor attendance and coordinate coverage and cross-training.
• Address equipment/process issues impacting safety, quality, or output.
• Collaborate with engineering, tooling, maintenance, and planning teams.
• Ensure SOPs, controls, safety, and cleanroom compliance.
