Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily wafer fabrication activities, ensuring safe, efficient production and adherence to procedures. You will supervise technicians, manage shifts, monitor yield and cycle time, and work cross-functionally to meet targets.

The role emphasizes safety culture, quality controls, and standard processes, with on-site weekday hours and opportunities to drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience.
• Experience with MES or production tracking systems.
• Strong safety, quality, and process-control knowledge.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production schedules and targets.
• Monitor performance and coordinate with engineering and planning teams.
• Maintain staffing levels and manage attendance and coverage.
• Address equipment/process issues to protect safety and quality.
• Promote Lean manufacturing and Kaizen events.
