Job summary

MACOM is seeking an Fab Operations Manager in Lowell, MA to lead a manufacturing team, drive safety, productivity, and quality while delivering on KPI targets. You will guide continuous improvement initiatives, manage budgets, and coordinate capital projects as part of a cross-functional leadership group.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, coaching, and effective communication within a regulated environment, with a focus on meeting customer commitments and driving performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years' experience or master’s with 5 years of related experience in a highly regulated industry.
• 4+ years’ experience managing people.
• Lean Six Sigma operations.

Responsibilities

• Directing and leading a team to meet safety, productivity, quality, delivery, and inventory objectives.
• Creating and monitoring monthly operating budgets and capital projects.
• Ensuring employees comply with standard work policies per Quality Management System.
• Identifying and solving complex, operational, and organizational problems to ensure capacity to meet customer commitments.
• Leading the operations team with effective communication and engagement as part of the Lowell Leadership Team.
