Job summary

MACOM Manufacturing Engineering Director location: Nashua, NH or Lowell, MA. Leads a multi-site organization to optimize processes, automation, and new technology for RF and microwave semiconductor and microelectronics assembly.

Discipline spans Manufacturing, Process, and Equipment Engineering; focuses on scalable, high-quality, cost-effective production and continuous improvement in a rapidly growing business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing engineering leadership experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading engineering managers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in RF Microwave assembly, electronics manufacturing, or high-reliability industries.
• Experience with ISO, AS9100, IPC, and regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Manufacturing, Process, and Equipment Engineering teams.
• Drive process improvements to enhance quality, throughput, yield, and cost.
• Champion Lean and Six Sigma, and evaluate new manufacturing technologies.
• Provide technical leadership for new product introductions and production transfers.
