Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX is seeking an Operational Excellence supervisor to lead a multi-disciplinary technical staff across production areas in the ATMC Fab. You will drive development activities, PM planning and execution, and ensure safety, training, and compliance.

You will steer quality and delivery targets, oversee equipment PM performance, set training and staffing plans, and push continuous improvement of SDQCP metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in wafer fab manufacturing environment preferred.
• BS or equivalent in a related field preferred but not required.
• Proven leadership abilities and cohesive team building.
• Understanding of business and management principles preferred.
• Knowledge of HR principles and procedures preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and other standard MS Office apps.
• Strong communication skills with management and teams.
• Ethical, competitive mindset; leadership/supervision experience a plus.
• Engineering/ equipment maintenance experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-disciplinary technical staff across production areas.
• Provide safety training and ensure compliance in the manufacturing environment.
• Direct and coordinate development activities for the team.
• Own execution of quality and delivery targets including inspections and PMs.
• Set and monitor Equipment PM performance metrics on shift.
• Develop training plans and staffing requirements for direct reports.
• Drive projects and CI for SDQCP metric improvements.
• Coach and mentor to build Total Quality cultural attributes.
• Provide reports to the Operations Excellence Section Manager.
