Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX seeks an experienced maintenance professional to support metrology equipment in wafer fabrication. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repair, upgrade and monitor tools such as 4-point probe, AFM, CDSEM, CD Verity, and film thickness measurement systems.

The role requires strong problem solving, clear documentation, and teamwork with Operations and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in semiconductor maintenance or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for metrology tools.
• Ability to document work clearly and train others.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on metrology equipment.
• Maintain, repair, upgrade and monitor wafer fabrication tools in Metrology.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Complete documentation and train colleagues on maintenance procedures.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
