Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced WAF & Internet Ingress and Edge Manager to lead operational service delivery for enterprise application protection, load balancing, ingress, traffic management, and edge connectivity services. The role is accountable for service performance, operational resilience, team effectiveness, customer engagement, risk management, and platform lifecycle improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, CS, engineering, or cybersecurity.
8+ years in WAF, application delivery, load balancing, or related tech.
3+ years leading technical teams and service delivery.
Experience with incident, change, problem, and lifecycle management.
Knowledge of WAF policies, CDN, bot and DDoS controls, and IaC.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end operational delivery for WAF and Internet Ingress & Edge services; establish priorities, rhythms, and ownership boundaries.
Lead, coach, and develop WAF/Ingress engineers; manage staffing and on-call rotations.
Own service metrics, SLA/KPI performance, governance, and improvement actions.
Serve as escalation point for major outages or security incidents; coordinate cross-team responses.
Own lifecycle planning across WAF, CDN, and automation; drive IaC and standard work.
Govern application onboarding, exposure, and handoffs; ensure dependencies and routing requirements are understood.
