Job summary

EY seeks an experienced WAF & Internet Ingress and Edge Manager to lead operational service delivery for enterprise protection, load balancing, ingress, traffic management, and edge connectivity services.

The role requires ownership of performance, resilience, and governance, guiding engineers across application, cloud, networking, firewall, and vendor teams to maintain secure, reliable, and well-documented services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
8+ years in WAF, application delivery, load balancing, cloud networking, or related disciplines.
3+ years leading technical teams and service delivery in operations.
Experience with incident, change, problem, and lifecycle management.
Knowledge of WAF policy, CDN, bot/DDoS controls, and Infra as Code.
Strong customer engagement, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end operational delivery for WAF and Internet Ingress & Edge services.
Set priorities, rhythms, escalation paths, and performance expectations.
Ensure secure, available, auditable, and supported services.
Lead, coach, and develop engineers across senior and staff levels.
Manage staffing, on-call rotations, and succession planning.
Drive incident response, escalation, and cross-team coordination.
Own SLA/KPI reporting, risk tracking, and backlog health.
Maintain lifecycle management and standard work for platforms.
