Atlas is seeking a WABO Special Inspector to provide essential inspection services on major transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate will be WABO certified, preferably with experience in structural steel and post-tensioned concrete.

Qualifications

• WABO certification required; preferably structural steel and post-tensioned concrete.
• ICC certifications across multiple categories are a plus.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I desirable.
• Radiation Safety/Nuclear Density Gauge knowledge encouraged.
• WSDOT/WAQTC, CWI, NACE or other materials-related certifications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections as scheduled.
• Maintain high standards of verbal and written communications.
• Read, interpret, and understand project specifications and drawings.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports and documentation of field activities and testing results.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of results.
