Job summary

Atlas is seeking a WABO Special Inspector to deliver critical inspection services on major transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate is WABO certified, with experience in structural steel and post-tensioned concrete, and capable of reading plans and documenting results clearly.

You will perform inspections, prepare timely reports, and maintain quality and safety standards. A valid driver’s license and proficiency with Microsoft Office are expected.

Qualifications

• WABO certification required; preferably in structural steel and post-tensioned concrete.
• ICC certifications (multiple categories) encouraged.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I is a plus.
• WAQTC, CWI or other materials-related certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections as scheduled.
• Communicate findings clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Interpret project specifications and drawings.
• Prepare timely, accurate reports of field activities and test results.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in all deliverables.
