Job summary

Atlas is seeking a WABO Special Inspector to provide inspection services on major transportation projects in the Pacific Northwest. The ideal candidate will be WABO certified, with preferred expertise in structural steel and post-tensioned concrete, and will join a team dedicated to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

You'll read project specs, prepare accurate reports, and maintain timely documentation while collaborating with field staff and clients.

Qualifications

• WABO certification required. Preferably structural steel and post tensioned concrete.
• Preferred ICC certifications across multiple categories.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I recommended.
• Radiation Safety/Nuclear Density Gauge certification advantageous.
• WAQTC, CWI, NACE or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct applicable inspections as scheduled.
• Prepare timely and accurate reports and documentation of field activities and testing results.
• Read, interpret and understand project specifications and drawings.
• Maintain timely documentation of inspection results and communications.
• Ensure accuracy, attention to detail, and timeliness of outcomes.
