Vulnerability Management Consultant

100% Remote

Long term contracting position

Client prefers Tenable Vulnerability Response (VR), but will consider candidates with experience in Qualys or RAPID7

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Consultant to lead the deployment and integration of the Tenable Vulnerability Response (VR) product onto the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow’s Security Operations module, experience with Tenable.sc or Tenable.io, and the ability to configure, customize, and operationalize the Tenable VR integration in alignment with organizational security and compliance goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and execute the deployment of the Tenable for Vulnerability Response integration onto the ServiceNow Platform.
2. Configure data ingestion pipelines to import vulnerabilities from Tenable.sc or Tenable.io into ServiceNow’s VR module.
3. Customize and fine-tune the Vulnerability Response workflows, dashboards, reports, and ticketing logic based on customer requirements.
4. Implement role-based access controls (RBAC), business rules, and data policies to ensure secure and accurate data handling.
5. Collaborate with internal security, IT, and ServiceNow platform teams to ensure successful integration and minimal business disruption.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly in Security Operations (SecOps) and Vulnerability Response modules.
• Proven experience deploying and integrating Tenable.sc or Tenable.io with ServiceNow VR.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management workflows, CVE/CVSS scoring, asset groups, and remediation processes.
• Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM modules in ServiceNow.
• ServiceNow System Administrator and/or Implementation Specialist certification.
