Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer for Cloudforce One to advance threat operations and research. You’ll translate complex security requirements into robust, scalable applications that help protect customers and improve internet safety.

Role involves Go/TypeScript development, working with Rust, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform, and PostgreSQL. Potential on-call as needed; compensation aligned with Washington DC market.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of building large-scale software applications, preferably distributed systems.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.
• Knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL or related relational databases.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills; writing well-tested code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, run, and scale distributed tools and services for threat intelligence workflows.
• Partner with security practitioners to understand workflows and automation opportunities.
• Improve system design for stability and performance across internal and customer-facing services.
• Analyze, communicate, and prioritize complex technical concepts across teams.
• Mentor developers to promote best practices and reusable code.
