Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a VTC Field Support Specialist (Level 1) in Columbia, MD to deliver hands-on technical support for enterprise VTC environments. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, repairing, and maintaining VTC systems and end-user devices at customer sites, with strong diagnostic and remote-support duties.

Qualifications

• VTC Expertise is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills are needed.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VTC devices, codecs, displays, and integrated AV subsystems.
• Deploy, maintain, and repair end-user computing devices and peripherals (workstations, thin clients, network cards, monitors, printers, VoIP phones, radios).
• Perform routine hardware diagnostics, software updates, and preventive maintenance at customer facility locations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical incidents related to end-user equipment and desktop software applications.
• Provide clear, professional technical support and remote troubleshooting assistance to end users.
• Interpret and apply technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute field installations and repairs.
• Ensure all customer support interactions maintain high satisfaction and adhere to service standards.
