Job summary

University of Utah in Salt Lake City is seeking a Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) Program Manager to administer the school’s participation in the AAMC VSLO program and oversee the full lifecycle of visiting student applications.

You will serve as primary contact for students, departments, and institutional partners, ensuring timely guidance on requirements, deadlines, and policies while coordinating affiliation agreements and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum four years of progressively responsible management experience.
• Knowledge of AAMC VSLO policies and procedures is preferred.
• Ability to oversee cross‑functional processes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Administer the institution’s VSLO participation ensuring alignment with policies.
• Manage full lifecycle of visiting student applications including review, eligibility, and enrollment.
• Serve as primary contact for visiting students, departments, and partners.
• Coordinate affiliation agreements and ensure compliance with required approvals.
• Provide cross‑functional registrar and financial aid support during peak periods.
• Develop SOPs and maintain VSLO platform data, including deadlines and fees.
• Generate reports on program metrics to support evaluation and planning.
• Stay current on VSLO regulations and national best practices.
