Job summary

Safe-Guard Products International is seeking a Claims Operations Manager for VSC claims to lead Supervisors and adjudicators in delivering accurate, timely adjudications. The role focuses on operational excellence, people leadership, and strong client partnerships with OEMs and dealers.

You will oversee audits, handle escalations, and drive continuous improvement across VSC claims, including new technologies like hybrid/EV coverage, ensuring compliance and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 5+ years in claims operations with at least 2 years supervising or leading others.
• Expertise in Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) claims adjudication.
• Solid understanding of automotive mechanical systems (engines, transmissions, etc.).
• Proven record of building high-performing teams through coaching and development.
• Experience managing client relationships in a B2B environment (audits, escalations, executive communications).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to clients and leaders.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret metrics and drive improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop VSC Claims Supervisors and adjudicators to achieve service levels and KPIs.
• Act as technical authority on VSC product lines, coverage structures, and underwriting guidelines.
• Provide guidance for complex, high-value or disputed claims with defensible adjudication.
• Ensure technical training across controllers on coverages and evolving technologies.
• Drive process improvements, SOP enforcement, and performance analytics.
