Job summary

Ascot Group is seeking a Senior Vice President, Claims Strategy, Operations & Alternative Risk to drive the strategic vision for U.S. Claims.

You will oversee Claims Operations, Strategy, TPA management and risk programs, delivering scalable operating models and measurable outcomes. You will partner with leadership across Claims, Underwriting, Technology, Data & Analytics, and Legal to enhance performance, governance, and customer outcomes, while embedding AI-enabled tools to improve decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive insurance industry experience with significant claims leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing enterprise claims strategies and operational transformations.
• Extensive experience building strategic solutions and delivering large-scale business transformation initiatives.
• Prior experience managing Programs, Captives, Alternative Risk or loss-sensitive business portfolios.
• Experience leading TPA governance, claims outsourcing programs and vendor management functions.
• Experience leading claims digitization, automation and systems implementation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor on claims strategy, operational effectiveness and enterprise execution.
• Develop and align the long-term strategic roadmap and operating model for the U.S. Claims organization.
• Lead claims operations and transformation initiatives, including process redesign and automation.
• Establish SOPs, governance, best practices and accountability metrics across operations and partners.
• Build dashboards and KPIs to monitor outcomes, quality, and costs.
• Use data insights to improve quality, reduce cycle times and optimize resources.
• Structure and govern TPAs, programs, captives, and alternative risk portfolios.
• Oversee onboarding, implementation and performance management for TPAs and new programs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align priorities and accelerate execution.
• Serve as outward-facing claims executive with brokers, insureds and vendors.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
