Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a VRF Systems Account Manager for the Heart of Texas region (Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Weslaco). You will develop long-term relationships with engineers, contractors, and building owners to deliver energy-efficient VRF solutions.

You will lead project take-offs, pricing, and consultations, while coordinating teams to win opportunities and expand the business. A 4-year degree or equivalent experience applies. Travel to local offices is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of demonstrated experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS).
• 2+ years experience of solution sales experience.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience may suffice.
• Communication and ability to build relationships, entrepreneurial drive, ability to close, organization & time management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project take-off, selection, proposal pricing and selling strategy, and integration of equipment, controls, and services for VRF projects.
• Provide knowledge and consultation in VRF system solutions including financial and performance-based considerations.
• Ascertain customer needs and market opportunities; coordinate acquisition team as needed.
• Convert leads into opportunities by assigning sales processes and next steps.
• Develop and execute an account-specific business plan for long-term, profitable partnerships.
• Assist customers in answering technical questions on VRF systems and Trane products.
• Plan your day and visit customers.
