Job summary
Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an HVAC Systems Engineer focusing on Ductless and VRF for residential split systems. You will validate products to meet market requirements and provide technical support to quality, manufacturing and supply chain teams.
The role leads NPI activities, develops specifications, and collaborates with design, testing and product management to ensure robust engineering and successful field deployments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Industrial Engineering.
- 4+ years of product engineering experience for NPIs in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering product introduction activities for Ductless and VRF, including cost estimates and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, suppliers, and customers.
- Collaborate with internal functions to support program metrics and goals.
- Translate design/engineering requirements into product line components and subsystems.
- Work with lab technicians on performance, reliability and agency testing.
- Support field issue verification with Product Management, Service, Manufacturing and Quality.
