Job summary

Jobtailor in New York is seeking an experienced VR Training Instructor to deliver instructor-led virtual reality programs using approved curricula. You will operate VR headsets, guide learners, and ensure safety and engagement during sessions.

You will assess learner progress, document outcomes in the LMS, and collaborate with curriculum developers and industry experts to keep training fresh, compliant, and aligned with workforce needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with VR training platforms and headset technologies.
• Experience using gaming/simulation/immersive tech to facilitate learning and engagement.
• Strong instructional and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led VR training using approved curriculum and lesson plans.
• Facilitate immersive learning experiences through VR headsets and simulations.
• Instruct students on safe and effective use of VR hardware, software, and equipment.
• Guide students through virtual simulations, scenarios, and interactive exercises.
• Monitor student performance and provide coaching, feedback, and support.
• Assess student progress toward course objectives and document outcomes.
• Troubleshoot basic VR equipment and software issues during class.
• Maintain VR equipment inventory and storage after sessions.
• Maintain attendance, assessments, and LMS documentation.
• Collaborate with curriculum developers and industry SMEs to enhance VR learning.
• Serve as SME for VR training programs and explore emerging technologies.
