Job summary

TechLink Systems is seeking a VR Systems Support Specialist to maintain and troubleshoot production VR environments and arena setups. You will perform preventive checks on VR workstations, HMDs, tracking systems, and AV gear, ensuring updates are properly tested before deployment.

You will support VR events, collect issue details, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors. Documentation of configurations and procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supporting VR/AR/MR hardware and software in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with high-end VR headsets (Varjo XR-4, Apple Vision Pro, Vive Focus Vision, Meta Quest 3, or equivalent).
• Experience with VR tracking systems (SteamVR Lighthouse, ART optical tracking, or similar).
• Knowledge of VR accessories configuration (tracking pucks, haptic gloves, motion controllers).
• Software platforms include Autodesk VRED, IC.IDO, Nvidia CloudXR, AV System Integration, Microsoft Teams Room, Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance checks on VR workstations, HMDs, tracking, and AV systems in VR arenas.
• Test software and firmware updates before deploying approved updates to production VR systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, resolve when possible, and coordinate escalations with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors.
• Support users and VR events by gathering issue details, following documented processes, and preparing systems for design reviews and engineering sessions.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance, system status, procedures, troubleshooting, configurations, cable standards, deployments, and team/supplier meetings.
