Job summary

Greenhill & Co., Inc., part of Mizuho Americas in New York is seeking a Vice President to lead debt private placements. You will supervise junior staff, build institutional investor relationships, and stay ahead of market trends while sponsoring licenses if needed. A senior, hands-on leader is required.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in 4(a)(2) debt private placements/debt capital markets.
• Proven track record of leading and executing complex transactions.
• Strong analytical and modeling capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Deep understanding of financial markets.
• SIE, 63 and 79 licenses; sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of 4(a)(2) debt private placements from idea to execution.
• Originate new business by developing private placement strategies.
• Provide strategic guidance to client management to secure lead roles.
• Prepare investor presentations and offering memoranda.
• Conduct credit analysis, due diligence, and financial modeling.
• Maintain relationships with institutional investors.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members.
• Stay current on market trends and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate across departments for seamless transaction execution.
