Job summary

Bennett Family of Companies in McDonough, GA seeks a Vice President of Recruiting to lead driver and staff recruiting across business units. You will own hiring results, recruiting spend, and lead generation, reporting weekly on cost and time-to-hire.

This role builds a high-performing team of 5-10 recruiters, ensures compliance with FMCSA/DOT, and drives results across multiple channels including truck shows and industry events.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience in trucking or logistics.
• Proven experience leading a team of 5-10 recruiters.
• Track record of meeting hiring goals while reducing cost per hire and time to fill.
• Experience planning multi-channel ad placements and lead generation.
• Budget management and ROI on recruiting investments.
• Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT driver qualification requirements.
• Strong data and reporting skills; able to present weekly metrics.
• Ability to travel to truck shows and business unit locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 5-10 recruiters with clear goals.
• Hire, onboard and train recruiters on Bennett processes and compliance.
• Balance workloads to meet hiring demand across business units.
• Deliver a weekly recruiting update to leadership for each unit.
• Track cost per hire, time to hire, lead volume, applications, conversions.
• Manage ad placements and lead-generation strategies; test campaigns.
• Attend truck shows and evaluate ROI; optimize recruiting spend.
